The River is an exciting place of new life and new hope. The River is founded on the love of God in Jesus Christ, empowered by the presence of the Holy Spirit, and passionately driven to love God and our neighbors with all our heart, mind, and strength. The River is a place where children and youth matter; a place where a lost world will see that there is hope for humanity, that different people can worship, serve, laugh, and learn together, and that the answer to sin, hate, and separation is Jesus Christ. At The River, race doesn’t matter, the seat at the table is not decided by the thickness of a person’s wallet, and someone’s past is something that can be left behind thanks to the love of God. Here you can wade in at your own pace and discover who God is and what it means for Him to have loved you enough to send His Son, Jesus, to die for you and then rise again to offer you hope and new life.
